Flash Flood Warning

At 723 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated earlier thunderstorms produced heavy rain across primarily the far upper reaches of the drainage leading into Buckskin Gulch. Water is likely flowing downstream through Lick Wash and into Buckskin Gulch. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... areas along the drainage leading into Buckskin Gulch from Bryce Canyon National Park, through Lick Wash, Deer Springs Wash, Riggs Creek, and into Buckskin Gulch and The Wave.
