* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Prescott Valley in Yavapai County in west central Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 430 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy unpaved roads. Ponding of water on highways and in urban areas will create hazardous travel conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 224 PM MST, the public reported street flooding in Prescott Valley from heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Chaparral Gulch, Coyote Wash, Lynx Creek, Agua Fria River, Winters Wash and Granite Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Prescott Valley and Dewey-Humboldt. - This includes the following highways... State Route 69 between mile markers 279 and 292. State Route 89A between mile markers 322 and 325.
