.Significant rainfall over the past 3 to 4 days has resulted in minor to moderate flooding along portions of the East Fork White River and associated tributaries in eastern and southeastern Indiana. Additional rain is possible at times through the weekend. Please stay advised of the latest forecasts and conditions through the weekend into next week, especially those who live near waterways or other flood prone areas.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flooding becomes more extensive. Although this level is fairly frequent, many local and state roads flood. Seymour gravel pit begins to flood. Livestock and equipment must be relocated to higher ground. High water surrounds river residences near Rockford. CR 760 E south of river gaging station is impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 PM EDT Friday was 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0 feet early this morning.
