Repetitive rounds of precipitation through Tuesday night will raise flash flood potential.
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following areas, Belmont, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas, southwest Pennsylvania, including the following area, Greene, and West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - While most locations will generally see less than 2 inches of rainfall, isolated locations could see up to 2 to 5 inches, which would create high water issues through portions of eastern Ohio, southwest Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
