At 1253 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Carbondale, or 14 miles south of Glenwood Springs, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Eagle, Gypsum, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass, Snowmass Village, Meridith, Cattle Creek, El Jebel, Woody Creek, and Emma.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 143 and 146. Colorado 82 between mile markers 8 and 33. Colorado 133 between mile markers 53 and 68.
