At 609 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ophir, or 14 miles south of Tooele, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Weather Station Measured wind gusts to around 70 mph at Dugway English Village.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include... Tooele, Grantsville, Stansbury Park, Ophir, Tooele Army Depot, Tooele Army Depot South, Stockton, Rush Valley, Lake Point, Erda, and Faust.
This includes Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 90 and 99.
