Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall with rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Ohio, including the following counties, Erie and Lorain.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 437 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lorain, Elyria, Sandusky, Western Vermilion, Vermilion, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Avon Lake, Amherst, Grafton, Northern Milan, Castalia, North Olmsted, Avon, Sheffield Lake, Eaton, Oberlin, Sheffield, South Amherst and Marblehead.
