White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.

White River at Muncie.

.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to moderate to major flooding along the White and Tippecanoe River. The flooding threat will persist over the weekend into early next week in some areas.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Noblesville.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding becomes more serious in the Riverwood, Clare, and Trails End areas. Flooding of basements occurs with water possibly extending to the first floor. State Road 19 begins to flood. Many local roads in these areas are impassable and some evacuations are necessary.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 19.0 feet early Saturday morning.
