At 913 PM PDT /913 PM MST/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lake Havasu City, Topock, Yucca, Desert Hills, Arizona Village, Mohave Valley, Mojave Ranch Estates, Mesquite Creek, Oatman and Willow Valley.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 in Arizona between mile markers 0 and 30. Interstate 40 in California between mile markers 153 and 155.
