Flash Flood Warning

At 418 PM EDT, trained weather spotters and emergency responders reported flash flooding in Mosheim and Chuckey. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Greeneville, Tusculum, Mosheim, Camp Creek, Chucky, Rocky Fork and Mohawk.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 in Tennessee between mile markers 42 and 54. Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 20 and 30.
