Wind Advisory

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected, mainly near the coast.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta, Western Capes, and Northern Bristol Bay Coast.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty onshore winds continue this morning and will slowly decrease through this afternoon. With a long fetch of high end small craft and gale force winds, this will result in higher waves and rough seas along the Kuskokwim Bay coast. Even though winds are expected to slowly decrease late this morning into this afternoon, high seas coinciding with high tide this afternoon will likely push water levels 1 to 2 feet above the normal high tide line for the Kuskokwim Bay coast.
