Clear skies and light winds have allowed temperatures to fall into the middle and upper 30s in the sheltered rural valleys. In many of these spots, temperatures will be cold enough for patchy frost formation. In addition, be on the lookout for locally dense fog near the rivers. The frost and fog will start to clear out by 9 AM EDT.
