At 625 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sells, Topawa, Ali Chukson, Covered Wells, Gu Oidak, South Komelik, Cowlic, Fresnal, No:ligk, Cababi, Comobabi, South Comobabi, San Luis - Sells District, Mountain Village, Artesia, Rincon, Sikul Himathk and Ali Molina.
This includes Route 86 between mile markers 90 and 122.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Indian Route 19 south of Topawa and Indian Route 20 at Cowlic.
