At 625 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sells, Topawa, Ali Chukson, Covered Wells, Gu Oidak, South Komelik, Cowlic, Fresnal, No:ligk, Cababi, Comobabi, South Comobabi, San Luis - Sells District, Mountain Village, Artesia, Rincon, Sikul Himathk and Ali Molina.

This includes Route 86 between mile markers 90 and 122.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Indian Route 19 south of Topawa and Indian Route 20 at Cowlic.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Chutum Vaya Wash, Hali Murk Wash, Pisinimo Wash, Puertocito Wash, San Juan Wash, Sikul Himatk Wash, Quijotoa Wash, Anegan Wash, Pan Wash, Sells Wash, San Simon Wash, Fresnal Wash, Baboquivari Wash, Ali Molina Wash, San Luis Wash, Ko Vaya Wash, Big Wash, Moras Wash, Las, Gu Oidak Wash, Topawa Wash, Murk Kui Wash, Vamori Wash, Comobabi Wash and Thomas Canyon Wash.
