* WHAT...High surf expected. Water levels 3 to 5 feet above the normal high tide line, peaking during each high tide.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast and Northwest Arctic Coast.

* WHEN...From 10 PM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will steadily ramp up Wednesday night into Thursday, remain strong through Friday, then gradually weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and Friday, with gusts around 50 to 65 mph expected. The strongest winds are expected near the Lisburne Peninsula.
