* WHAT...Temperatures of between 95 to 102 degrees this afternoon and between 96 to 101 degrees Monday afternoon. Heat index values of between 100 to 107 degrees will be expected both afternoons.

* WHERE...In Kansas, Jewell and Mitchell Counties. In Nebraska, Polk, York, Clay, Fillmore, Nuckolls, and Thayer Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight lows Sunday night into Monday morning will not be expected to fall below 76 to 80 degrees.
