White River from Elliston to Hazleton
.Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances of rain.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.
* WHEN...Until Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St. Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive flooding of Kimmell Park at Vincennes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM CDT /12:45 PM EDT/ Monday the stage was 18.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM CDT /12:45 PM EDT/ Monday was 18.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
