At 1211 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm east of Cana Island Light to 20 nm west of Point Betsie to 23 nm east of Algoma, moving east at 20 knots.
