For the following areas... Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1212 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 19 nm southeast of City Of Houston to 27 nm southeast of Vermillion Reef, moving southeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
