* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the following county, Powell.
* WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will allow minor flooding to persist or worsen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Stanton, Clay City, Rosslyn, Cat Creek, Waltersville, Bowen, Powell Valley, Virden and Westbend.
