* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Greene and Webster.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 414 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen with rain from 1 to 1.75 inches being recorded within 15 to 20 minutes in some locations. - This includes the following low water crossings... Wilson Creek at Farm Road 156, Givins Branch at Highway W, Panther Creek at Highway B, Niangua River at Highway Y, Pomme De Terre River at Greenwood Road, Wilson's Creek at Farm Road 150 and Wilson Creek at Farm Road 146. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Springfield, Marshfield, Strafford, Willard, Fair Grove, Niangua, Brookline, Bassville, Northview, Elkland and Glidewell. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
