* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... East Central Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Central Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Central Lewis County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 345 AM EDT.

* At 1228 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Rock Cave, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Walkersville, Ireland, Sand Run, French Creek, Alton, Alexander, Tallmansville, Stouts Mills and Baldwin.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 77 and 90.
