At 638 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Swords to near Arnaudville to near Loreauville. Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Lafayette, New Iberia, Opelousas, Catahoula, Scott, Breaux Bridge, Carencro, St. Martinville, Church Point, Leonville, Arnaudville, Broussard, Youngsville, Sunset, Port Barre, Duson, Henderson, Washington, Grand Coteau, and Loreauville.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 93 and 121. Interstate 49 between mile markers 1 and 25.
