At 141 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. HADS gauge northwest of Leon Valley have reported between 2-3 inches of rain in the past hour.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Antonio, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Shavano Park, Cross Mountain, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Sea World, Leon Springs, The Dominion, Grey Forest, Fiesta Texas, San Geronimo and Scenic Oaks.
