...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma...
Chikaskia River near Blackwell affecting Grant and Kay Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chikaskia River near Blackwell.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Several city blocks in the northeast portions of Blackwell may be affected. Streets closest to the river may be nearly impassable... with depths approaching 2 feet. Highway 177 north of Blackwell is overtopped... and Hubbard Road southeast of Blackwell is closed. Rural lands are covered by floodwaters ranging up to 3 feet in depth in extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 30.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet. - Forecast...The Chikaskia River is expected to rise to a crest of 31.2 feet this afternoon.
