Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 823 PM CDT /723 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles north of Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, or 41 miles northwest of Beulah, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public reported. 60 to 70 mph winds reported 6 miles east of Mandaree with 3 inch tree branches down.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include... Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, Fort Berthold, Skunk Creek Bay Recreation Area and Deep Water Creek Recreation Area.
