At 1039 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rainfall had begun to move out of the area. Up to 2.5 inches of rainfall occurred between Ottawa and Morris from these storms. Standing water may be slow to recede over the next few hours.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Joliet, Kankakee, New Lenox, Park Forest, Mokena, Bourbonnais, Frankfort, Bradley, Morris, Channahon, Minooka, Steger, Manteno, Braidwood, Wilmington, Coal City, Marseilles and Peotone.
Minor street flooding was reported earlier near Joliet.
