At 822 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles southwest of Ute Lake State Park to 15 miles south of Montoya, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Quay, Ragland, Montoya and Forrest.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 310 and 352. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 95 and 105.
