* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River near Chanute.

* WHEN...From this morning to late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 28.5 feet, Flood waters may flow across old Highway 169 north of Chanute. Agricultural flooding will also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 24.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
