At 1136 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in an area centered around 7 miles east of Pueblo to 7 miles northeast of Pinon. Heavy rainfall rates of up to 2 inches in 1 hour were still falling across northeast Pueblo County. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... East side Pueblo, Pueblo Airport, Boone, Pueblo Depot, Avondale, Blende and Salt Creek.
This includes the following streams and drainages... Edson Arroyo, Salt Creek, Tom Hollow, Burnt Creek, Black Squirrel Creek, Fountain Creek, Haynes Creek, Kramer Creek, Wolf Arroyo, Andy Creek, Saint Charles River, Huerfano River, Thomkins Arroyo, Chico Creek, Sixmile Creek and Dry Creek.
