At 620 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Santa Clara, or 38 miles southeast of Beaver Dam, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... St George, Santa Clara, Gunlock State Park, Dameron Valley, Ivins, Snow Canyon State Park, Gunlock and Bloomington.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 1 and 3. Utah Route 18 between mile markers 10 and 12...and between mile markers 15 and 18.
