Flood Warning

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana...

Wabash River at Riverton, Terre Haute. Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site and Montezuma.

.Multiple rounds of rainfall over the past week, totaling at least 2 to 4 inches, lead to minor lowland flooding along the middle to lower Wabash River. The Wabash has crested and is falling at Montezuma and Terre Haute and is nearing a crest at Hutsonville and Riverton. Flooding will end at Montezuma and Terre Haute Monday and at Riverton and Hutsonville by the middle of the week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, A few sloughs and a drainage have water in them in the vicinity of SR 63 on the west side of the Wabash River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM EDT Sunday /7:30 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 17.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM EDT Sunday /7:30 PM CDT Sunday/ was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
