At 1054 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Miles River to 6 nm northeast of Taylors Island to Coltons Point, moving east at 45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer significant damage in high winds.

Locations impacted include... Yeocomico River, Breton Bay, Saint Clements Bay, Piney Point, Mouth Of The Potomac River, Point Lookout, Tall Timbers, Cobb Island, Swan Point, Coltons Point, Saint George Island, Wicomico River, White Point Beach, and Coles Point.
