* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Henry County in south central Virginia... Southern Pittsylvania County in south central Virginia... The City of Danville in south central Virginia... Patrick County in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 222 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen across much of the area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
