The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Sycamore Creek in Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 630 PM MST.

* At 328 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Agua Fria National Monument and Dugas.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Cienega Creek, South Prong Sycamore Creek, Ash Creek, Big Bug Creek, Dry Creek, Little Sycamore Creek, Indian Creek, Silver Creek, Little Ash Creek, Sycamore Creek and Agua Fria River.
