At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles north of Shelby to 12 miles north of Spartanburg to 11 miles northeast of Greenville Downtown. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Spartanburg, Shelby, Gaffney, Forest City, Greer, Mauldin, Taylors, Kings Mountain, Five Forks, and Boiling Springs SC.
