Illinois River at La Salle affecting Putnam, Bureau and La Salle Counties.

Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Lake IN and Newton Counties.

For the Kankakee River...including Shelby...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

For the Illinois River...including La Salle...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kankakee River from Near I-65 and De Motte downstream to IL/IN state line, including the Shelby gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Low-lying residences are threatened along Bluegrass Road east of Sumava Resorts and along Westwood Drive and Island Boulevard near Shelby.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue rising, potentially reaching moderate flood stage with a crest near 11.5 feet by early Sunday morning.
