At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Statesville to 10 miles northeast of Shelby. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
