At 218 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Trinidad, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, brief penny size hail and torrential rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Heavy rain will cause ponding of water on roadways and quick rises in area creeks, streams and normally dry washes.
Locations impacted include... Trinidad, Model, and Hoehne.
