At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour. Up to 1 inch of rainfall has occurred so far, with 2 to 3 inches of rainfall possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly as the intense rainfall rates expand eastward.
