Solomon River near Niles affecting Ottawa, Dickinson and Saline Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Solomon River near Niles.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to overflow into the low portion of a cultivated field on the right bank, upstream, adjacent to the gage site. At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles. At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this afternoon and continue falling to 11.0 feet early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
