At 409 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing wind gusts of up to 35 mph over Big Point, or 8 miles northeast of Escatawpa, moving west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. Funnel clouds also possible.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Escatawpa, Hurley, Big Point, Vancleave, Wade, and Helena.
