* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following counties, Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington and central Kentucky, including the following counties, Anderson, Bullitt, Jefferson, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer.
* WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Shepherdsville, Lyndon, Middletown and Salem. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
