Details
At 521 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles north of Nordman, or 28 miles northwest of Bonners Ferry, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Additionally, brief heavy downpours could cause ponding of water on roads.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Boundary and northern Bonner Counties.
