* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, hazardous surf of 7 to 10 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...West facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Pulses in the southwesterly monsoon along the souther peripheries of Invest 97W will continue to bring swells from the southwest to the northwest to the Marianas today.
