* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Significant flooding of row crops in the flood plain begins. Downstream of the gage the town of De Witt may start experiencing flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Thursday was 16.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.8 feet on 05/10/1996. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
