The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 217 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain beginning to move into the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 30 minutes. Rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Philadelphia, Lansdale, East Norriton, Doylestown, Hatboro, Ambler, Chalfont, New Hope, Yardley, Newtown, Abington and Langhorne.

This includes the following highways... Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 28. Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 333 and 349.
