* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect sporadic gusts to 55 mph rather than frequent gusts. Southwest winds Wednesday afternoon turn westerly by late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Winds will diminish through Thursday morning.
