* WHERE...Central Gallia County in southeastern Ohio... Southeastern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio...
* WHEN...Until noon EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 922 PM EDT, local law enforcement numerous roadways that were flooded across the warned area. The Raccoon Creek gauge at Adamsville remains above the minor flood stage of 21 feet. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
