.Southwest swell from Hurricane Lowell will linger tonight for west facing shores of the Big Island. This could continue bringing damaging surf, damage to coastal properties, and beach runup until midnight tonight.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 8 feet, becoming 4 to 6 feet later tomorrow morning

* WHERE...West facing shores of the Big Island.

* WHEN...Until midnight HST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
