* WHAT...Heavy snowfall of 4 to 8 inches has already fallen. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Sunday morning.
* WHERE...South Slopes Of The Central Brooks Range including the Dalton Highway between mileposts 175 and 209.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM AKDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...An early season snowfall is expected this evening through Sunday morning. Roads and especially bridges are already slick and snow covered.
Instructions
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Visit 511.alaska.gov or call 5 1 1 for the latest road conditions.
Persons should consider delaying travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
